Amy Seusing is chief development officer at JFF. She leads the development team and strategy to diversify revenue through government grants, foundation and corporate partners, and individual support, with a focus on creating high-impact partnerships for the communities JFF serves.

Before joining JFF, Amy served as the senior director of corporate and foundation relations at the nonprofit Obama Foundation, which is focused on inspiring, empowering, and connecting young people to change the world. In her role there, she created the corporate and foundation fundraising team, strategy, and structure to grow the foundation’s revenue to over $150 million in three years.
Previously, she was the vice president of development at Rebuilding Together, a national housing and community development nonprofit, where she led the fundraising team at the national office.
Amy speaks on issues related to corporate social responsibility, board fundraising, and national partnerships with local impact.
She says that she was drawn to JFF because, in her previous roles supporting workforce development initiatives, she has seen the positive impact that economic opportunity can have on individuals and communities.
Amy has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from Union College in New York. Outside of work, she can be found trying out new restaurants or recipes, telling people about the greatest new book she has read, skiing, working her way through lists of classic must-watch movies, running in half marathons (nine states down, 41 to go), traveling with friends, and spending quality time with family.
