Daniel Estes is a senior manager at Jobs for the Future. A member of the Strategy, Growth, Innovation, and Impact team, he is responsible for quantifying and articulating JFF’s impact. Among other things, he helps refine frameworks and models, define key output and outcome indicators and metrics, and build a more data-driven impact culture and practice across the organization.

Before joining JFF, Daniel was the strategic initiatives manager at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, where he led strategic planning, impact evaluation, and capacity-building efforts. A member of the executive team for nearly six years, he helped scale the center from a $6 million operation into an $11 million organization.
Before that, he spent time at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and on Capitol Hill.
Daniel says he was drawn to JFF because of the organization’s mission to achieve equitable economic advancement for all.
He holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from California Polytechnic State University.
Daniel lives in Maine with his wife, Rose, and their pup, Daisy. He enjoys playing disc golf, soccer, and the French horn.
