A member of Corporate Leadership team in JFFLabs, she supports JFF’s community of impact employers and the Corporate Action Platform. Her skills and areas of expertise include:Education and employment strategies for people reentering their communities following incarcerationProgram design and developmentSector partnershipsLeadership and professional developmentBefore moving into her role at JFF, Jocelyn managed workforce development initiatives at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. In that role, she brought together employers and educators to increase talent pipelines in Northwest Ohio. Through those activities, she gained an interest in and passion for reentry education and fair chance hiring programs that create opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals. She also served on education advisory committees for local public schools, career and technical education programs, and joint vocational school districts.“In my time at a regional chamber of commerce, I saw the impact that employers have on their workers, communities, and economic development,” she says. “At JFF, getting the chance to support companies who have heard the call and own the responsibility of advancement and equity for their people and their community will be some of the most inspiring work I get to do.”Jocelyn holds a master’s degree in public administration from Ohio’s Bowling Green State University and a bachelor’s degree from Bethany College in West Virginia. While studying at BGSU, she earned certificates in inclusive leadership and ethical leadership. Outside of work, you can find her walking her dog, visiting the closest coffee shop, or baking way too many cookies for her friends and family.
