Working with Chief Strategy and Growth Officer Rusty Greiff, she assists with special projects, helps design and produce documents, acts as the point of contact between the SG2I team and internal or external colleagues, and provides support to the search team by serving as the liaison for job candidates.

Her skills and areas of expertise include:

  • Project management
  • Calculated/critical thinking
  • Data entry
  • Strategic planning
  • Time management
  • Obstacle diagnosis

Before joining JFF, Kamiylah served as lead patient experience representative at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she worked with the admitting team to ensure that admissions and other patient services were processed efficiently and accurately. She began her career in health care when she initially pursued a degree in nursing and developed a love for the hospital and the health care world.

At Boston Children’s, she worked closely with a team of administrative personnel and nurses on a project called AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You), which resulted in the development of a hospital-wide patient services policy for all staff.

She enjoys engaging in behind-the-scenes work and making small things move so initiatives can have big impacts.

Kamiylah says she was drawn to JFF after reading about the economic progress the organization’s programs have directly influenced. “The knowledge that JFF has helped produce quality systems for education and career advancement opportunities was more than enough reason to want to join such an extraordinary organization,” she says.

Kamiylah lives in Boston’s North End. She loves to bake, read, and binge-watch Harry Potter movies with her daughter Lily!
