Ronesha Williams

Ronesha Williams is a program manager in the Advancement Unit at JFF. In that role, she works collaboratively with and supports other JFF employees to improve programming and alignment between education and workforce development systems and address structural and policy barriers.

Her skills and interests include:

  • Partnership development and management
  • Program design and development
  • Engagement and implementation
  • Community and economic development

Before joining JFF, Ronesha did college access and college success work in Boston.

She spent two years of AmeriCorps service working with College Advising Corps-Boston University, where she advised primarily first-generation and low-income students to help them achieve their postsecondary goals.

She then spent several years at College Bound Dorchester, where she first worked as a college readiness adviser and later served as an evaluation coordinator. As a college readiness adviser, she coached and supported students on college campuses to help them mitigate issues that could hinder them from graduating. As an evaluation coordinator, she developed internal systems to collect feedback from staff and students in order to improve programming.

Ronesha says she was drawn to JFF because this role enables her to apply her direct service experience to systems-level thinking and implement changes that can break barriers and provide access and opportunity that will assist in creating equitable solutions for students and communities.

Outside of JFF, Ronesha can be found checking out a new podcast, enjoying live music, or having a game night with family and friends.
