The CEO Initiative is an annual forum that brings together corporate leaders so they can discuss how business strategies can be used to address major social issues. This year's forum takes place in San Francisco, on June 25–26, and it has seven major themes:

- Employee and Community Health and Wellbeing
- Creating a Diverse Workplace Culture
- Building a Planet-First Company
- Focusing on Long-Term Value
In a session titled "Closing the Skills Gap: Unlocking Opportunity in Workforce Development," JFF CEO Maria Flynn and other leaders will discuss how economic mobility, dignified work, and automation play a role in the development of global workforces. They will also explore what the private sector can do to help communities close the skills gap and strengthen their future workforces. This session takes place June 26 at 9:30am.
