About the Event

Redefining Training at Work is an invitation-only learning experience for corporate leaders on Wednesday, February 12, in San Francisco. Our agenda will explore immersive learning technologies and how they are reshaping the way companies can equip talent—particularly entry-level and frontline talent—with cutting edge skills. Alongside leaders in the immersive learning field, we will unpack what immersive learning has to offer, discover what it feels like to use the latest technology, and answer practical questions related to cost, vendor selection, and implementation.

8:00 a.m. | Breakfast & Networking

Breakfast and networking before programming begins. Come early try on some AR/VR headsets and get a firsthand immersive learning experience.

9 a.m. | Setting the Table

We’ll kick off the day by framing up the topic and giving participants an opportunity to meet. We’ll then dive into a brief distillation of the world of immersive learning and why it’s so critical to both the corporate training context and for entry-level and frontline workers.

9:45 a.m. | Sneak Peek: Virtual Reality “Live”

Dive into the first immersive learning experience of the day as we welcome Walmart and Strivr to the stage. Together we will engage in a display of the training technology they’ve built in partnership.

10:30 a.m. | Immersive Learning in Practice

Learn more about the varieties of immersive learning technology as well as their corporate training use cases through a series of short, engaging presentations featuring F500 leaders and their technical partners.

JFF’s five Immersive Learning partners will be set up to showcase their technology and let you try on the headsets and experience the training modules for yourself.

Rejuvenate, network, and finish up any technology demonstrations from the previous session.

1 p.m. | Keynote: Where Immersive Learning is Going

Feature presentation and conversation on why immersive learning is a critical tool that companies and workers alike should embrace.

1:45 p.m | Corporate Spotlight: Mastercard

2 p.m. | Workshop: How to Apply Immersive Learning Tools to Your Company
