A recent article in the Washington Post discussed the way a new philanthropic initiative called the Justice and Mobility Fund is supporting organizations that work to improve the economic outlook for people exiting the nation’s criminal justice system.
JFF is one of the organizations receiving financial support from the fund, a partnership between the Ford Foundation, Blue Meridian Partners, and the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. We are using the money to further our efforts to create a demand-driven approach to hiring people with criminal records and promoting fair chance hiring for people with convictions.
