JFF Associate Vice President Kyle Hartung was recently interviewed for an EdTech Focus on K-12 article about the changing labor market and the need to prepare Generation Z students for the future of work.
The article discussed new initiatives that school districts are launching to ensure that students are college- and career-ready, and shared Hartung’s observation that early college programs can be beneficial.
“Exposing young people to strategic, door-opening, early college courses in a particular field can set them on their way to their first professional credential with value in the labor market, without limiting their future educational or career aspirations,” he told EdTech.
