A news update on Inside Higher Ed reported that President Joe Biden plans to nominate former JFF Vice President Amy Loyd to serve as assistant secretary for career, technical, and adult education at the U.S. Department of Education.
Citing a statement issued by the Department of Education, Inside Higher Ed noted that Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona welcomed Loyd’s nomination, saying in part, “Amy has dedicated her professional life to expanding equity and opportunity in education.”
