Jobs for the Future developed the DesignForScale: College Self-Assessment Tool to guide colleges through a deep and consequential effort to look at every institutional practice and policy—including those that are myths, long-standing practices, and de facto policies—and analyze the degree to which all of those support (or don’t support) student success. The Tool provides a structure and process for institutions to examine existing policies and practices, make necessary changes, and ensure student success reforms are concrete, long-term, and college-wide.
