Career Engagement: In internships, pre-apprenticeships, and other activities, participants gain employability skills and get a taste of fields they are interested in.
Career Exposure: In introductory activities such as job shadows, company tours, and informational interviews, participants begin to get acquainted with companies or industries they previously knew little about.
Career Exploration: If it’s not possible to arrange an actual workplace-based learning program, career exploration activities such as simulations and student-run enterprises can help participants begin to understand what certain careers might be like.
