JFF leads the TAACCCT Learning Network, an initiative to provide comprehensive technical assistance to community colleges receiving funds through the U.S. Department of Labor's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) program. TAACCCT provided nearly $2 billion over a seven-year period to more than 700 community colleges. JFF helps build the capacity of grantee community colleges to deliver industry-aligned education and training for adult learners. Additionally, JFF curates best practices and lessons learned across a host of innovative strategies and program models, including:

  • Methods for employer engagement
  • Expansion of work-based learning and apprenticeship
  • Accelerated program models
  • Articulation from non-credit to credit-bearing programs
  • Credit for prior learning
  • Student supports for higher rates of completion and job attainment
